Small Business Appliance

Built to handle up to 300 users and 50 Mbps of throughput, the small business appliance can operate in one of three modes designed to accommodate the diverse range of network configurations found in small and medium sized businesses.

The small business appliance is completely self contained, offering install and forget capabilities without any maintenance. Constantly monitoring itself, it ensures the NullBound Malware Prevention System is automatically updated, maintained, and fully operational at all times. Even in the event of a power outage, the appliance restores itself as soon as power is available again.

Inline mode allows the NullBound Malware Prevention System to protect a network while operating in between the Internet circuit and the router/firewall. Utilizing Inline mode allows for a simplified installation for small to medium sized networks which do not have managed switches capable of port mirroring.
Active/Passive mode is a means of operation which allows the NullBound Malware Prevention System to protect a network while operating transparently on a managed switch. Active/Passive mode utilizes two interfaces, one for monitoring the network, and the other for management and communication. This is ideal for switches that do not allow communication on ports that are being mirrored.
Passive mode is a means of operation which allows the NullBound Malware Prevention System to protect a network while operating transparently on a managed switch. Utilizing passive mode allows for a simplified installation while protecting every end user instantaneously.
